This hidden gem is what community js all about. Ozello is home to some of the finest fishing on the face of the Earth and is home to even better folks. The onwers are in a first name basis with everyone and the food is made with care. Top off your tackle and all the essential for a good day in the water after breakfast ir some if the best old fashioned cheeseburger before you get home and have to wash the boat. Don't miss out on the Outpost. They make you feel like family and if you're lucky get a picture on that wall next to the other fisherman and fellow catches of a lifetime! Stopped here for breakfast during our group ride on Ozello Trail, and this place absolutely delivered. I tried the shrimp omelette -- first time ever having shrimp in an omelette -- and wow, it was incredible. So fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The grits were spot on too -- creamy and seasoned just right. Everyone in our riding group couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. The service was friendly and quick, and the laid-back coastal vibe made it a perfect stop before hitting the twisties again. If you're riding through Ozello Trail, make sure to stop by Island Post -- you'll be glad you did.

This place is amazing. Service was excellent, even with all tables being full. The food came out hot and looked and tasted great. Kitchen staff usually delivered the meals. Even though it was a open box atmosphere, it was very well done. It was definitely worth the drive.

Absolutely a 100% enjoyable afternoon lunch. A place that's family friendly. Good price,our subs were packed well with meat on a fresh roll. Fries were hot & delicious. Enjoyed the small tal & recommendations of hard ciders or beer.

It's great to see the Outpost open again! Don't miss this gem when you're in Ozello! Island Outpost is ABSOLUTELY my favorite spot to grab a bite in Ozello. The owners & staff are always friendly. The beer is icy cold, and the food is unexpectedly amazing. The cheeseburger is oh so good French Fries are hot and crispy. The chicken wings are darn tasty and only 89 cents each. The uniquely Island Outpost cuban sandwich is made with smoked pork, and it's delicious! The clam chowder is homemade and bursting with flavor. The Wednesday special (after 5 PM) is pizza. It's amazing. The Saturday special (after 5 PM) is tacos. They are generously filled. Oh, so good! The cheese grits and grilled cheese sandwich are Greyhound approved - The Outpost is a restaurant, bar, and convenience store. - Outside seating is shaded and dog friendly.
